I know this is a petty thing to think about, but my mind works like this when I’m über-busy comicking and listening to OSTs of series…
New Evangelion anime got Hikaru Utada for their theme songs.
New Sailor Moon anime got Momoiro Clover Z for their theme songs.

I gave MCZ a listen last year and no, my ears didn’t like them. I like Hikaru more, well before she sang for Evangelion. Based on what I’ve read on Wiki though, MomoClover at least apparently don’t lipsynch and are really positive and I think that’s really good in this day and age—
But yeah. This is my deep philosophical question of the day. If you like either one of them or both or neither, that’s ok, by the way! I’m just being random :P
I did this for warm up and to practice movement, like the title says. I’ve been thinking lately about Sailor Saturn from Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon a lot, and how much of an awesome character she is. That is, if she had been allowed more screen time to show it xD (She demonstrated her skills/powers in what, 3 episodes? It’s been years since I watched the series.)
I think she’d be pretty agile, almost like a gymnast, using her glaive as additional momentum for attacks. Come to think of it, she does that in the manga, right? >_>
The panels below are just how I imagined she doing one such thing. She’s in her Silver Millennium (?) version…because it’s cooler. I like one sketch enough to maybe make it full-blown finished product but that’s probably wayyy down the line/the future.

This was the first version of Sailor Team’s Theme I heard, and for many years I thought it was the only and official version of the song. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon the real original and well, I liked it. I was disappointed that it didn’t sound as cool to me from the start as this one XD But it’s definitely still catchy.
This is one of the songs from that Sailor Moon in Paris CD I mentioned earlier.
Does anyone remember the Sailor Moon in Paris CD?
Just asking, because I’m feeling those pangs of nostalgia again listening to it…and I get sad thinking about how no one barely mentions it whenever anything SM related pops up.
I still think it’s one of the best CDs period, but I’m most likely biased.
